Hi, I'm Lizanne, the heart and soul behind Silksory.

Our silk journey as a family began with the discovery that silk provided comfort to our daughter, who has sensory sensitivities and struggles with sleep. She loved the smooth and soft feel of silk and it helped sooth her anxiety providing a comfortable sensory experience.
While going through the process of my daughter's autism diagnosis I was then diagnosed with cancer!

My cancer diagnosis was a turning point, leading me to discover the power of mulberry silk. Silk offered comfort during the whirlwind of appointments, scans, radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

Then menopause started and I had to deal with hot flushes - one of the side effects of my cancer treatment. My silk pillowcase was perfect keeping me comfortable at night with it's moisture-wicking and temperature regulating properties. I now can't sleep without my silk pillowcase!

All our products are luxurious highest grade 6A, 22 momme mulberry silk and ivory white in colour, silk's natural colour, no dyes or harmful chemicals were used.
